Ljubljana, June 11, 2024 – On Tuesday, a high-profile event on advanced technologies, organized by the NAPREJ Institute, took place in Ljubljana. The event, aimed at increasing competitiveness in both the business and personal spheres, attracted many participants and experts from various sectors.
The introductory part of the consultation was devoted to practical examples and a round table, in which prominent experts participated: Aleš Pevc from Tehnološki park Ljubljana, Tomaž Marovt from Marovt Group, Peter Vidmar from Agency 101, Lea Škrubej from Metabees agency and Jasmina Mihelak Zupančič from ŠC Slovenska Horses – Zreče, Think XR. The discussion was moderated by Tadej Slapnik, who guided the conversation and encouraged the interactive participation of the participants.
The conference highlighted key trends and technologies that are currently shaping the future of business with the help of advanced technologies. The fourth generation internet, metaverse worlds, artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), digital twins and virtual reality were introduced. The speakers pointed out and demonstrated with practical examples how these technologies bring extraordinary opportunities for improving productivity, automating tasks, better user experience in services, more effective education and new forms of cooperation.
Special attention was paid to practical demonstrations, where participants could experience the use of virtual reality glasses, digital avatars supported by artificial intelligence, digital twins and Industry 4.0 technologies. Demonstration of the use of virtual reality technologies in education and companies generated tremendous interest among the participants, as the participants were able to try the latest technological innovations first hand.
Among the important topics was the availability of development funds for technological projects. The participants received useful information on how they can effectively draw on these funds and use them to develop their projects.
The event ended with a discussion, questions and answers, where participants could ask questions and get additional explanations from the experts. This was followed by mutual networking, where those present had the opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new business contacts and practice tests of the presented technologies.
The consultation on advanced technologies was extremely successful and showed how important it is to monitor and introduce modern technological trends to increase competitiveness. The organizers expressed satisfaction with the large number of participants and active participation, which confirmed the need for such events in Slovenia.
