DEVELOP AND SUPPORT PROJECTS THAT BENEFIT SOCIETY AND THE PLANET

The world is on the threshold of a new “industrial revolution” brought about by technological change (automation, AI, quantum and supercomputers, 5G, etc.), demographic trends (ageing population) and climate change (sustainability, circular economy). This is creating new market trends, paradigms, business conditions and major changes in society. Our focus will be on projects for:

  • Promoting applied research

to support the advancement of society and the economy;

  • Advice to business and the public sector

internationalisation of business and green and digital transformation;

  • Increase the volume of funding

Increase the funding of the Institute’s research and development work from national, international and economic sources;

  • Business support,

to innovate their products, services and processes in collaboration with the Institute’s researchers, thereby increasing their competitiveness and productivity;

  • Co-creating an ecosystem of small and medium-sized highly innovative enterprises,

high-tech, high value-added, business collaborations with the Institute.

  • Cooperation in society between all institutions,

reinforcing our shared values, such as ethical business conduct, consumer rights, decent working conditions and investment in knowledge;

  • Promoting debate on moral and ethical values,

discussing what is good and what is bad for the future of society and the world;

The FORWARD Institute and its members are already NOW implementing concrete projects in the fields of logistics, blockchain in public infrastructure, mobility, pharmaceuticals, cybersecurity, digitisation, construction development, sustainability, energy and medicine.
