Members of the Inštitute NAPREJ attended the signing of the consortium agreement for the implementation of the SH2J green hydrogen value chain projects and a round table on the importance of hydrogen in achieving climate energy goals and green transformation.
Hydrogen is important in achieving climate energy targets and green transformation because it is a clean fuel with no carbon footprint. Burning hydrogen releases only water, which means it does not contribute to climate change.
Hydrogen can be produced in a variety of ways, including water electrolysis, which uses electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. This method is environmentally friendly as renewable energy sources such as solar or wind power can be used to generate electricity.
The technology to produce and use hydrogen is still under development, but has the potential to play an important role in achieving climate energy targets and green transformation.
Hydrogen can be used for a variety of purposes, including:
Using hydrogen for these purposes could help reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and contribute to a more sustainable future.
